Quick Hello

I know I know. You lakeland people must think that I have forgotten all about you. That I don't care about you anymore. That I wallow in my own self pity and only post here when i need to scream. But no, really, life just gets so busy... and I know, thats no excuse not to keep up with your friends.

Let me catch you up on a bit. I leave in 15 days for the Ukraine. Two weeks from Tomorrow (as in Tuesday). I can't believe it. I've never been on an over seas mission trip... and I know a part of all my A2 stuff over the years was to prepare me for this (and hopefully a trip a little longer trip soon!!!) I can't wait. To say I am scared is underestimating the word... I could say I am honored... unworthy... privilaged... Excited... lol. The emotions are running the gauntlet. And I can't wait because my accountability partner from here in O-town is over there right now... and I will tell you... having THAT person on the other side of the world is hard. You can't just call them... their internet connection sucks... so its hard to stay in contact. But, we have... and I know it will be an amazing hug when I get off that plane. My parents are taking the day off to take me to the airport... but anyone who wants to be in Tampa around 8:30... lol... let me know, and you can come see me off... ;-) it would be cool.. but i know yall are busy. I also get back to Tampa the following Tuesday at 11:50ish... pm... might fit better into yalls college life there ;-)

Anyways... so I have decided that I am going to start something in my own personal life that I used to do all the time my sophomore year of college. I am going to start posting my blessings of the day... I am going to write down my frustrations somewhere... but I am going to publize my blessings... too often, we only tell about the things that frustrate us, adn not often enough to we tell about the cool things God is doing... or the neat, little ways he encourages us through our days... so here are the TOP 5 of today...

(In No Particular order)

1. Angie Finding the Remote... it's been lost for almost 2 weeks!
2. Being able to keep my endurance up at my afternoon job today. I get so tired because I relax in the middle of the day that I don't want to work later in the afternoon... but today I had a Propel and it really helped.
3. Getting a 30 percent off coupon to my favorite store in the mail!
4. Mom buying me my favorite Mac&Chesse for dinner!
5. Laughing with the girls... Meghann can be SOOO funny!!!
